It's not a real dating app, just a fun little experience we put together for Valentine's Day, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go ahead and give it a try anyway!
Most agencies get really into their holiday card. Here, at Common People United, we love holiday cards - but the holiday we are most excited about is Valentine’s Day. And since the agency holiday card has evolved into a way to show off your digital skills, we thought we’d approach our inaugural V-day card with the same attitude!
That's why our 2016 holiday card is not a card at all. It’s an app!
A totally real, not-at-all-a-gimmick dating app, to be precise. But this app doesn’t help you find dates, it helps you on dates. It’s kind of like "crowdsourced dating advice," "the uber of friends," and "kind of creepy periscope" all rolled into one, and even though it’s still in beta, we want to give you, the Fort Wayne community and friends of Common People United, the chance to try it out on the most dated on date of the year - February 14.
What’s in it for you?
The chance to be an early adopter by giving Like a Friend a test drive before anyone else has a chance to discover the next big thing in dating - and the chance to help someone out of a bad dating situation. Who knows? You might even help them find love!
What do you have to do?
Because it’s Valentine’s Day, we’ve already got plenty of people on dates gone wrong who’ve requested an S.O.S. (Save Our Situation), but we could use a lot more people willing to act “like a friend” and save these poor souls. By signing up for the beta test, you’ll have the chance to act “like a friend” to one of our daters in distress. It’s all anonymous, of course, but through the app you’ll be able to watch them on their date and offer them advice as needed.
If you’d like to try it out or just learn more, simply click the logo below and sign up to act "like a friend" right now…
